A Few Things to Note

• Corrections — If you spot an error, an outdated price, or a product that’s no longer available, please let us know. Accuracy matters, especially on a site dealing with health and legal guidance.
• Questions about a specific guide — If something’s unclear or a scenario isn’t covered, we’re always interested to hear what would be useful to add.
• Your specific damp or mould problem — We can’t diagnose your property or tell you whether what you’re looking at is condensation, rising damp, or something structural. That needs someone who can actually see it — an independent surveyor, not a firm that also quotes for the remedial work.
• Health questions — We’re not medically qualified and can’t advise on symptoms or a specific health condition. Your GP is the right person to ask; NHS.uk has general guidance on damp and mould.
• Tenant and landlord disputes — We can point you to our guides on the process, but for advice on your specific situation, Shelter and Citizens Advice have dedicated services for exactly this.
